I write in a mode of permeability ～ in between languages, landscapes, and the lives rushing through them. In poems, essays, commissioned work and editorial practice as co-founding editor of Phyll Magazine, I attend to the luminous and the urgent.
My work draws on studies in music, languages, arts and philosophy (B.A., Utrecht), cultural analysis (M.A., Amsterdam), creative writing at The Writers Studio New York and poetry with Tracy Fuad at the Berlin Writers’ Workshop.
I’m based in Berlin and work internationally.

My portfolio gathers work created in collaboration with clients across the arts, education, health and beyond. I offer research, copywriting, editing, translation and localization ～ in English, Dutch, German and from French ～ for formats including print, web, audio and press materials.
In independent writing, I grapple with the fallout of hegemonies. Obsessions include the porosity and power of language as material for world-building, eco-poetics, desire and the uncanny. Under poetry, you’ll find poems as they appear; p a r e l s archives short prose, essayettes and asides.
